The key is that you can't just grab a handful of front brake all of the sudden. You've got to gradually apply more pressure as the weight of the bike shifts forward, the front forks compress, and all of the weight is on the front tire. So start off applying like 25% brake, and then increase that to maybe 75%.

OR motor/valve stuck. The EGCV valve is cycled open/closed/open on startup. if it can't make full O-C-O range it throws a code
