My one-month-old Canon 70-200 f/2.8L takes blurry pictures. I've run a bunch of tests and continue to see this. It is most noticeable at f/2.8 (yes, I realize there is low DOF at this). It is consistently worse the my 75-300. Try a larger target for focusing perhaps (the heart is quite small, and perhaps the camera did not lock focus properly
The II and III are the exact same minus a paint color change and a fluorine coating to help with lens flare. Not worth the extra money if you can get the II cheaper. I considered the RF version simply for space savings, but still couldn’t justify it. The II is still just a fucking superb lens for photos.
Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8L IS II USM with lens hood. The EF 70–200mm lenses are a group of telephoto zoom full-frame lenses made by Canon. The lenses have an EF mount to work with the EOS line of cameras. The lens comes in seven different versions, all of which have fixed maximum aperture at all focal lengths, and are L-series lenses.
The new edition, the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II ($2,799.99), covers the same focal range, but sports a new optical formula that enables clearer results, faster focus, and a significant reduction
Against its predecessor and the relatively new Nikon Nikkor Z 70-200mm F2.8 VR S (which at 1440 g is just 40 g less than the original Sony), the Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II performs well and comes out in front.”. Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II Lens Available from B&H Photo | Amazon | Adorama.
The EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM is Canon's second lens to get a Nano USM (Ultrasonic Motor) driven AF system (the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens was the first) and expectations for performance similar to the first implementation were realized. Nano USM acts like heavily-caffeinated STM AF, combining the benefits of a high speed
Includes lens hood. Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD. Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2. It comes with a lens hood so that you don’t have to buy it separately. These are used to block strong light sources, such as the sun, from the lens to prevent glare and lens flare. Lens hood is reversible.

AF speed and accuracy can take a hit, too. But, your actual performance will also greatly depend on the camera body that you are using.
